Dávid (11, Szombathely)

Dávid’s long-held dream came true when he visited the legendary stadium of Liverpool Football Club, Anfield Road.
The visit took place on a sunny day in May, when even the notoriously unpredictable English weather showed mercy for Dávid’s sake and revealed its sunny side. The unusually warm 22 degrees Celsius gave the perfect opportunity to enjoy a few ice creams along the way.

Throughout the day, Dávid explored the stadium stands, imagining what it must be like when 61,000 fans sing the iconic "You’ll Never Walk Alone." He visited the players’ locker rooms, usually hidden from supporters' eyes, tried out the bench, touched the perfectly trimmed grass, and attentively viewed the highly treasured trophy collection in the museum.
After the stadium and museum tour, Dávid had the chance to attend an unforgettable dinner in a private room at the stadium, accompanied by Liverpool legends such as Bruce Grobbelaar, Jamie Carragher, and several others.

“Liverpool is not (just) a team, it’s a family,” said Bruce Grobbelaar, the legendary goalkeeper. For a moment, we all felt like part of that “family” during the evening.
For little Dávid, the song echoed loud and clear: "You’ll Never Walk Alone."

Dávid’s mother sent us these kind words:

Dear Csodalámpa Foundation,

We would like to express our gratitude that, with your help, Dávid and his father were able to travel to Liverpool and take part in the season-ending event of the Liverpool supporters' foundation for people with disabilities!
They had a fantastic time and collected wonderful, unforgettable memories.
Ted and his lovely wife were incredible hosts who went out of their way to make them feel welcome and comfortable.
The invited famous guests, the organizers, and all the participants were so kind and attentive to my son — it meant a lot to him!

He also received many gifts, which made him very happy!

Attila is a warm-hearted and wonderful person, an excellent travel companion. He supported them every step of the way and was incredibly kind and attentive throughout the entire trip. We are deeply thankful to him as well!

The weather was also in our favor, allowing time for a stadium visit, boat ride, and sightseeing — all of which created unforgettable experiences for them.

My heart is filled with joy to finally see my son happy and smiling again after a terrible year of hospital treatments.
We are forever grateful for your work!

With love,

Dávid’s mom

On behalf of Dávid, we sincerely thank Mr. Ted Morris for inviting him to this very special event, our private supporters, as well as Ayvens Magyarország, for making this little boy’s dream come true!

Tamás Kristóf (15, Budapest)

Ketrin, Dorina, Dávid, and Tamás had been eagerly awaiting this Disneyland Paris adventure. Our journey was filled with touching, emotional moments.

It began with the warm, friendly welcome from Wizz Air at the airport. Ketrin’s worries and fears—not only about flying but also about the strange-looking device that lifted both wheelchairs up to the boarding level of the aircraft—quickly faded thanks to the encouragement of the Wizz Air staff. Onboard, in addition to a kind welcome, the children received special attention. Later, they were even invited into the cockpit and continued their exciting journey as happy recipients of gift packages.

Upon arriving at the elegant Disneyland hotel, another surprise awaited the children’s team: a new package filled with games and treasures. At the reception, we were met by Francesco, a French-speaking Italian volunteer, who became our friendly, resourceful, and highly attentive guide for the afternoon exploration. He expertly helped us reach the various attractions and shows on time, and we greatly appreciated his local knowledge and willingness to assist.

The Pixar film Together, accompanied by a live orchestra, the personal encounters with costumed characters, and the open-air and indoor adventures set in various magical worlds—by rail, roller, water, or air—all offered unforgettable experiences for both children and parents. It’s true that the more thrilling adventures evoked mixed feelings among our more daring team members (like the free-falling elevator in the Tower of Terror).

By the evening of the first day, the group was so tired that we postponed the fireworks until the following day. We later regretted this decision, as the Easter weekend crowds grew even larger by then. Still, we watched in awe as the fireworks were enhanced by a dazzling light show, dancing drones, and a beautiful musical soundtrack.

/ 7

Fortunately, with the Wish card, we received priority access and special attention everywhere, though even with this, navigating the crowds in a wheelchair was not easy. On the second day, the large group split into smaller ones—the boys ventured into the bolder, more action-packed "territories." The spectacular parade of storybook characters brought tremendous joy and excitement to the children. Magnificent floats and costumes passed by, and everyone watched in wonder. During our walk through the park, we witnessed several touching moments when passing characters gave special attention to the girls in wheelchairs—with warm smiles, kind words, hugs, high-fives, and of course, the obligatory group photos.

On the final day, our time was limited due to our return flight, but we still made room in the schedule to relive our rat’s-eye-view dash with Rémy through the thrilling dangers of the Ratatouille ride—amid giant feet and towering kitchen equipment.

By the end of the trip, the children were filled with a thousand new experiences and were thoroughly exhausted—not surprising, considering the enormous “MAGIC package” they received in just a few days.

On behalf of Tamás, we would like to thank Wizz Air Hungary Ltd, Disneyland Paris, Jet Travel, Henkel Magyarország Kft., the team of 'Csudapest' community server and Paplovagnak, and our private supporters, among them Tímea for making Tamás’ dream come true.

Gergő (13, Pecöl)

Gergő knows everything about airplanes. In his free time, he explores various airports using 3D simulations, and he dreamed of flying on a “real, big” passenger aircraft – to anywhere. Since his brother Benedek’s wish was connected to the Vatican, it was only natural that the two brothers would travel to Rome together.

Gergő was fascinated even by the airport security check, and while waiting to boarding, he constantly watched the planes on the runways. The special wheelchair boarding was also very exciting, but no sooner had we taken a seat on the -at that time- empty plane than the captain came to greet the boys! He had a great conversation with Gergő about different airplanes, discussed the type of aircraft we were flying on, and what to expect.

Soon, Gergő was truly above the clouds, observing everything from his window seat. At the end of the hour-and-a-half flight, he praised the landing, and during disembarkation, he even got a peek into the cockpit, which brought him great joy.

On his way out, he was amazed at the size of the airport in Rome and the planes lined up there. He enjoyed the few days of vacation in Rome, but perhaps it is not an exaggeration to say that he was looking forward to the return trip – another chance to fly.

We thank our supporters – Wizz Air Hungary Ltd., Forbes Hungary, Feldobox - FDB Kft., Veszprém – Balaton Christian Culture Foundation, Mr. Péter Rudolf, the director of Vígszínház and the management of the theatre, as well as the audience of the performance, for making Gergő's dream come true.

Benedek (11, Pecöl)

Benedek has been serving as an altar boy since the age of seven. His father even built a small chapel for him in their yard, which he furnished beautifully. Benedek wants to become a priest, so it’s no surprise that he wished to meet the Pope when he encountered a genie. This wish was fulfilled during Holy Week before Easter— already a significant occasion — but 2025 is also a Holy Year, which makes a visit to the Vatican particularly meaningful.

Immediately after our arrival, we headed to St. Peter's Basilica. Benedek was fascinated by the square, the basilica, the atmosphere of these, he just turned his head back and forth. Unfortunately, due to Pope Francis’ health condition, a personal meeting with him could not take place. However, Benedek was received by Cardinal Rolandas Makrickas, the coadjutor archpriest of the Papal Basilica of Santa Maria Maggiore. After passing through the Holy Door, he immediately began a conversation with Benedek, and they then prayed together in front of Pope Francis' favorite sacred image, the Salus Populi Romani. (A few days later, this visit took on a somber significance when the Pope was buried in this basilica, near the sacred image.)

During our stay in Rome, we also visited the Holy Stairs and the Lateran Basilica, but of course, we couldn’t miss the Colosseum and the Trevi Fountain either.

On the day of our departure, thanks to the Pontifical Hungarian Ecclesiastical Institute, Benedek was also able to attend the Chrism Mass at St. Peter’s Basilica, which filled him with deep devotion.

Benedek’s brother, Gergő, was also able to travel with him. He had always wanted to fly, so these few days became an unforgettable experience for the whole family.

We would like to thank our supporters—Wizz Air Hungary Ltd., Forbes Hungary, Retroplusz Trading and Service Ltd., Veszprém – Balaton Christian Culture Foundation, Mr. Péter Rudolf, director of the Vígszínház and the management of the theatre, the audience of the performance, as well as our private donors—for helping make Benedek’s dream come true.

András (16, Szeged)

András had a great desire to attend one of the concerts on Destroy Lonely's "Love Last Forever" tour and - just maybe, maybe... - if possible, to meet his favorite artist.

Fulfilling such "meeting" requests is usually very difficult, as most artists' contracts exclude the possibility of such requests. Naturally, we tried this time as well to make it possible for András to see the rapper at his concert in Prague.

The Czech member of the Wish Alliance, our sister organization, Zlata Rybka (Golden Fish Foundation), has very good relationships with many potential supporters within the Czech Republic, and we believed that with their help, we would be able to fulfill this request as well.

András has been a fan of rap music for two years, and besides music, boxing fills his days. Of course, it is also noteworthy that he won a recitation competition, so he also aims to write appropriate rap lyrics for the music he creates himself.

According to him, the concert and meeting brought him immense joy.

We hope that the experience will aid his recovery for a long time.

We thank the Zlata Rybka Foundation, IGPark Logistics and Real Estate Development Ltd., and our private supporters, including the teachers, students, and parents of Thomas Mann Gymnasium-Deutsche Schule Budapest for their assistance in fulfilling this wish.

András also wrote us a short report:

'First of all, I would like to thank everyone who contributed to fulfilling my wish.

Prague was much more beautiful and atmospheric than I had imagined. We arrived quite late on the first day, so we only had time for an evening city tour.

On the second day, we visited the Charles Bridge and the clock tower in the Orloy district. The concert was also held on the same day. We arrived at the venue before 7 PM, where there was already a queue several hundred meters long. Fortunately, those with VIP tickets were let in earlier. Before the concert, a DJ set played, which set the mood.

Then came the performance. I would be lying if I said it wasn't the best concert of my life. I felt incredibly good!

After the concert, I had the opportunity to meet Lone. The manager of the club escorted me to the dressing room, where I could meet Lone. We were able to talk for a few minutes, I told him about myself and asked him professional questions to which he answered with complete humility. We also took a photo together.

After the concert, we returned to the accommodation by metro.

The third day was quite eventful. First, we visited the Wallenstein Palace garden. Then we headed towards Prague Castle. The castle was located quite high, offering a splendid view.

After the castle, we walked up to a lookout point, from where a beautiful view unfolded before us. To conclude the day, we said goodbye to the city in downtown Prague.

On the last day, we spent a few hours in Vienna on our way home. We visited the Hofburg Imperial Palace, took a walk in the city center, and tried the popular Five Guys fast food restaurant.

András'

Anasztázia (16, Felgyő)

Anasztázia is a talented teenager. She is interested in sports, music, painting and she is keen on ancient Greek history and culture. Her dream was to visit Athens, where ancient history meets the modern metropolis, where she can see the world heritage sites and feel the Greek way of life.

Even the flight itself was a surprise, as Anasztázia was invited into the cockpit by the captain and given a present on behalf of the whole crew.

From the airport, we took a taxi to the ibis Styles Athens Routes hotel, where we were greeted with authentic Greek hospitality. Despite this, we didn't stay too long at the hotel, but set off to discover Athens. During our walk we could see ancient monuments almost at every corner and took many photos of course. Later we tasted some of the best Greek cuisine (souvlaki, mousaka, baklava) and then visited the Parliament on Syntagma Square where we watched the changing of the guard.

Our second day began with a delicious and rich breakfast, followed by a full day cruise. Our huge ship departed from the port of Piraeus, and after an hour and a half sailing through the Aegean Sea, we reached the charming island of Hydra, with its authentic Greek atmosphere.

We took a long walk, then had a mixed platter of seafood for lunch in a cosy restaurant. After lunch, we visited the island's history museum and then boarded the ship again. We didn't rest on arrival in Athens, spending the evening in the bustling bazaar and the tourist-filled Plaka.

On the third day, the Acropolis awaited us. On the way up, we saw countless ancient monuments and we had a magnificent view. Anasztázia was impressed by the Acropolis, she took a close look at all the sights, obviously enjoying being at this historic place.

At the end of our tour, we enjoyed a delicious Greek meal on the terrace of a restaurant at the foot of the Acropolis, while admiring the famous building from a little distance.

We spent the afternoon and evening in the centre of Athens, enjoying the Greek way of life as we had to return home next morning.

I am sure that Anasztázia came back from this wonderful trip with a lifetime of experiences.

Please read the kind words of Lilien's mother:

"Dear Magic Lamp Foundation!

Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for making it possible for one of my daughter's biggest dreams to come true – to discover the magical Paris.

Lilike was endlessly happy and enjoyed every moment of this wonderful journey.

We visited the city's iconic sites: admiring the Eiffel Tower shining in the night lights, immersing ourselves in the magical world of Disneyland, stopping at the impressive Notre-Dame and the impressive building of the Pantheon. We walked through the beautiful Luxembourg Gardens, marveled at the monumentality of the Arc de Triomphe, and cruised along the Seine river while fully enjoying all the beauty of Paris.

/ 5

This city itself is a miracle, but the greatest miracle for us was Lilike's happy, bright smile. Words cannot describe the gratitude we feel for your contribution to making this all possible.
I believe and know that many years from now, we will return to Paris with Lilike and relive this magical experience once again. With a grateful heart, thanks:

Bálint (16, Ercsi)

Bálint's hobby is football. He is a Real Madrid fan and had a great desire to participate in one of their Champions League matches. Bálint was excited about the trip to Madrid, where, in addition to the match, sightseeing and a stadium tour were also included in the program compiled for him.

Unfortunately, it was pouring rain during the sightseeing, so we mainly watched everything from the car (in addition to the rain, we also had to avoid 2 feminist demonstrations). We walked through the modern part of the city, went to the bullring, had a delicious lunch, and then the stadium tour, which Bálint liked very much.

The long-awaited Real Madrid - Rayo match took place the next day.

The big boy was enchanted by the atmosphere of the match, he said that he felt like he was dreaming, he couldn't believe that this miracle was happening to him.

I am sure that during the trip to Madrid, our 16 year old Real-fan was enriched with lifelong experiences.

Lénárd Móric (11, Pécs)

Lénárd, who loves playing football himself, is a big Manchester United fan, and his greatest wish was to watch a Manchester United match live at the famous Old Trafford Stadium.

This wish came true, and not just for any match. Accompanied by his brother, he attended a game where Manchester United hosted Arsenal, the second-placed team in the league, in front of nearly 74,000 fans.

The atmosphere in the stadium was indescribable. The odds were not in Manchester United's favor, so before the match, Lénárd was just hoping that his favorite striker, Bruno Fernandes, would score a goal against the renowned opponent. And that's exactly what happened. Manchester United took the lead through Bruno Fernandes, bringing immense joy to Lénárd. The thrilling match ended in a draw, but Lénárd left the stadium happy nonetheless.

The visit to Manchester, which was also Lénárd's first flight, brought many other exciting experiences, including a stadium tour, a visit to the National Football Museum, and of course, sightseeing, such as viewing the beautiful Manchester Cathedral. And since it was England, fish and chips were a must.

We would like to thank our supporters, the Budapest Marriott Hotel, GroupM Hungary Kft, Jet Travel, and our private supporters, including Tímea and János, for making Lénárd's dream come true.

Dávid (10, Szombathely)

Dávid approached us with no less a request than to attend a Liverpool match.

Since childhood, he has been a big football fan, and his favorite team is Liverpool, so it was almost natural that he chose them.

When the wish was received, we didn't think it would be so difficult to fulfill. We thought we could simply go to the team's website and eventually buy tickets for Dávid and his father for one of their matches.

Our initial enthusiasm didn't wane even when we realized it wouldn't be that simple. Partly because Dávid needs a disabled access ticket due to his illness, and these seats are limited in every stadium.

We didn't give up even when we couldn't buy tickets after many attempts. To be honest, we almost gave up, but then we had the idea to write to the Liverpool team and ask for their help.

/ 5

Help arrived quickly, a kind gentleman responded to our request in no time and offered his own seat (!!!) and the accompanying ticket.

Words can hardly describe what we felt. The gentleman himself is wheelchair-bound, so he immediately understood what this gesture would mean to the young man.

And what did it mean? Here is the message we received from his mother on the day of the match, which was the most beautiful thank you we could have received.

We are deeply grateful to Mr. Ted Morris for his support, without which we would have faced a very rare, almost impossible wish to fulfill. It was uplifting and touching for both Dávid and us.

We thank Mr. Ted Morris, the Budapest Marriott Hotel, H1 Systems Kft, the management of VakVarjú Restaurant, and our private supporters for making Dávid's wish come true!

Abigail (15, Budapest)

Abigail's original wish was to meet the members of the band 21 Pilots. Unfortunately, despite all our efforts, we couldn't make the meeting happen, but we were able to arrange a visit to their concert in Vienna.

Abigail has been a fan of the band for many years and was looking forward to the concert. We didn't know who the opening act would be, but we hoped she would be pleasantly surprised.

The young lady has undergone many treatments, and we were very hopeful that fulfilling her wish would cheer her up and give her strength to overcome the final obstacles.

After the concert, we were happy to see her smiling and visibly enjoying the evening. And as a surprise, in addition to acquiring some memorabilia, with the help of a kind employee of the Wiener Sporthalle, Julia, we also managed to get a concert poster. The surprise was a great success, and the poster will surely find a worthy place.

Dear Abigail, we wish you a speedy recovery and many more concert experiences like this one!
